http://weddingmusicproject.bandcamp.com/album/wedding-processional-songs-for-brides-bridesmaids Joyful Joyful We Adore Thee (Ode To Joy Beethoven) LYRICS: Joyful, joyful we adore Thee, God of glory, Lord of love! Hearts unfold like flowers before Thee, opening to the sun above. Melt the clouds of sin and sadness, drive the dark of doubt away. Giver of immortal gladness, fill us with the light of day! All Thy works with joy surround Thee, earth and heaven reflect Thy rays! Stars and angels sing around Thee, center of unbroken praise. Field and forest, vale and mountain, flowery meadow - flashing sea! Chanting bird and flowing fountain call us to rejoice in Thee. Thou art giving and forgiving, ever blessing, ever blessed; Wellspring of the joy of living, ocean depth of happy rest! Thou our Father, Christ our Brother, all who live in love are Thine; Teach us how to love each other, lift us to the joy divine! Mortals join the happy chorus, which the morning stars began; Father love is reigning o’er us, brother love binds man to man. Ever singing, march we onward, victors in the midst of strife! Joyful music leads us Sonward in the triumph song of life!

Jesu Joy Of Man's Desiring (Bach) lyrics: Jesu, joy of man's desiring, Holy wisdom, love most bright; Drawn by Thee, our souls aspiring Soar to uncreated light. Word of God, our flesh that fashioned, With the fire of life impassioned, Striving still to truth unknown, Soaring, dying round Thy throne. Through the way where hope is guiding, Hark, what peaceful music rings; Where the flock, in Thee confiding, Drink of joy from deathless springs. Theirs is beauty's fairest pleasure; Theirs is wisdom's holiest treasure. Thou dost ever lead Thine own In the love of joys unknown. There are many other English lyric renderings for this tune; this is the most commonly heard, but is not an actual translation of the original lyric.

I Will Be Here (written by Steven Curtis Chapman) Lyrics: Tomorrow morning if you wake up and the sun does not appear I will be here If in the dark, we lose sight of love Hold my hand, and have no fear 'Cause I will be here I will be here When you feel like being quiet When you need to speak your mind I will listen And I will be here When the laughter turns to cryin' Through the winning, losing and trying We'll be together I will be here Tomorrow morning, if you wake up And the future is unclear I will be here Just as sure as seasons were made for change Our lifetimes were made for these years So I will be here I will be here And you can cry on my shoulder When the mirror tells us we're older I will hold you And I will be here To watch you grow in beauty And tell you all the things you are to me I will be here I will be true to the promise I have made To you and to the One who gave you to me Tomorrow morning, if you wake up And the sun does not appear I will be here Oh, I will be here.

Praise To The Lord The Almighty The King of Creation Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of creation! O my soul, praise Him, for He is thy health and salvation! All ye who hear, now to His temple draw near; Praise Him in glad adoration. Praise to the Lord, who o’er all things so wondrously reigneth, Shelters thee under His wings, yea, so gently sustaineth! Hast thou not seen how thy desires e’er have been Granted in what He ordaineth? Praise to the Lord, who doth prosper thy work and defend thee; Surely His goodness and mercy here daily attend thee; Ponder anew what the Almighty can do, If with His love He befriend thee. Praise to the Lord, who, when tempests their warfare are waging, Who, when the elements madly around thee are raging, Biddeth them cease, turneth their fury to peace, Whirlwinds and waters assuaging. Praise to the Lord, who, when darkness of sin is abounding, Who, when the godless do triumph, all virtue confounding, Sheddeth His light, chaseth the horrors of night, Saints with His mercy surrounding. Praise to the Lord, O let all that is in me adore Him! All that hath life and breath, come now with praises before Him; Let the Amen sound from His people again, Gladly for aye we adore Him.

There are no lyrics used in the present day for the Wedding March. But many creative young ladies have devised their own lyrics as they fantasize about their own perfect wedding day. Here is a translation of the lyrics from the opera, according to Wikipedia: Faithfully guided, draw near to where the blessing of love shall preserve you Triumphant courage, the reward of love joins you in faith as the happiest of couples Champion of virtue, proceed Jewel of youth, proceed Flee now the splendour of the wedding feast may the delights of the heart be yours This sweet-smelling room, decked for love now takes you in, away from the splendour Faithfully guided, draw now near to where the blessing of love shall preserve you Triumphant courage, love so pure joins you in faith as the happiest of couples

Helpful article on Catholic Wedding Hymns:
www.weddingmusicproject.com/wedding-hymns/catholic-wedding-hymns/
CATHOLIC WEDDING HYMNS are ideally suited for your prelude, for key points during your ceremony, or while your guests are being dismissed after the wedding. Hymns add richness and depth of meaning to a ceremony; it is hard to imagine a wedding without them. Lyrics have been provided with each of these wedding hymns as a starting point for words that may be printed out for the mutual participation of the congregation in your Catholic wedding. Alternate and additional lyrics exist for some of these hymns; we have attempted to provide those most commonly sung. More Catholic Wedding Hymns may be added soon, including "Set Me As A Seal Upon Your Heart," a more contemporary Catholic wedding song composed by Carey Landry and Carol Jean Kinghorn; Pachelbel's Canon in D, The Prayer, I Will Be Here, In This Very Room, I Have Loved You, Only A Shadow, You Raise Me Up (as performed by Josh Groban), One Bread One Body, The Wedding Song, and the traditional Bridal Chorus (Here Comes The Bride) and Wedding Recessional by Mendelssohn, which are of course not unique to Catholic Wedding Ceremonies, but used quite regularly. Household Of Faith is another 'family friendly' song that we may arrange and record.

"All People That On Earth Do Dwell", known also as the Old 100th or the Doxology in some Christian churches, is one of the most recognizable hymns across denominational lines; it is taken from the 100th Psalm.

"Joyful Joyful We Adore Thee" (Ode To Joy from Beethoven's triumphant 9th Symphony) is almost unmatched in it's inspired marriage of lyric and music; my dream is to record a choir and orchestra version of it for our wedding music site in the future.

On a personal note, I was not familiar with Panis Angelicus in my younger years - but find it a wonderful piece from the heart of St. Thomas Aquinas (with musical setting by Franck), and have enjoyed several arrangements of it - including our own.
