The Bridal Chorus (Wedding March|Here Comes The Bride|Bridal March) is here arranged for string quartet with acoustic piano accompaniment, in a moderately stately style, not as informal as the reflective piano arrangement we offer.

There are of course no official lyrics for the Bridal Chorus, except in the opera Lohengrin, which lyrics are never heard in modern wedding ceremonies. However, if you come upon young ladies playing wedding you might overhear "here comes the bride, all dressed in white...." It is probably just as well we don't use the lyrics from the original opera scene, as it ends tragically for the "happy couple." And unlike weddings today, the bridal chorus was sung by the bridal party after the ceremony while the bride was making her way to the bridal chamber.
